I really appreciate the kind words and thoughts that I have gotten.
So this morning my husbands temp. was over 104....Yikes. I really got worried and he just didn't look very good. We couldn't find anyone to immediately come over and watch the kids so we ended up having to call for an ambulance. So...they came and took him in to the hospital and drew tons of blood and finally....hours later we got the news that he has pneumonia. I can't believe it, it never crossed my mind that it could be that. So now he is resting in bed and I think it'll be a few days for him to start coming around. I feel so bad for him.
Also, I would like to say this..
My husband has been working with juvenile delinquents for about 17 years now, and he's really good at what he does. He's really helped a lot of kids over the years. Sometimes it gets to you..you know. He specialized in sex offenders for about 14 of those years. I think he gets so used to seeing these "bad" kids after awhile you forget that most kids are GOOD. Today at the hospital there were so many nice people that helped us out. One of them was this kid (about 17) named Charlie. Charlie is a volunteer at the hospital. He kept coming in to check on us and he was just the nicest kid ever. It was so wonderful to sit and talk to him about what he wants to do in life, what a GREAT kid. Thanks Charlie....I know that you are going to make a difference in this world, and already have.
Hopefully we can all get some rest tonight and tomorrow will be a better day!

oh my goodness! here's to a full recovery for that special guy. take care of yourself and keep your eyes on the things that matter most.
I hope your husband is fully recovered. He's deserving of good health so he can continue to lead those kids in the right direction, and because no one in this country can afford to be in a health care crisis!
