Hello everyone..
It's been sooo long since I have updated my blog!
We have been hit by the Swine Flu..
My oldest who is in 1st grade brought it home from school (how nice of him to share) and then it has spread through the house. It's been about 5 or 6 days since myself and the little guy got it and we still don't feel well. Seriously this is the yuckiest thing ever. Somehow my husband has been able to avoid it so far...I sure hope he stays healthy!!!
I've had no time to paint...just taking care of the kiddos and trying to lay low.
Hope everyone else out there is doing well.....all I can say is Purell Purell Purell!!

Ya poor baby! I'm getting over it too, in fact, both sweet man and I are getting over it. I've always dragged in the flu as a kid..I'm like a flu magnet, but without going into detail, I began getting my flu shot in 1986 and haven't missed one yet, till the piggy flu...I wasn't eligible for the shot. Of course it found me...who knows where, but it found me. I washed, I Purelled, I made sure I didn't touch my face before I washed my hands in boiling water!!!! But still, it found me. So sweetie, hang in there and know this too shall pass. I'm in this prison, I call home, till Friday when I go for my exam to make sure I've cleared this nasty little critter then I'll be free!!!
How I remember when my first started school, he brought home everything especially strep throat...turned out there was a little carrier in his first grade class, discovered only after my tonsils took a beating for almost a year!! LOL By the time my daughter began school, her immunities were up there and when my youngest started school, well, he was the healthiest of all!!
So take care and use the time to just chillax as much as you can and if hubby comes down with it, you'll be able to take care of him without fear of catching it!! Got to look at all those little silver linings whenever possible!! LOL
Oh Trine, I'm so sorry you have that flu and your son too. Listen, drink a lot of water, orange juice, and chicken broth. Even if it's the chicken broth that comes in a can, warm it and you and your son drink it. It does really help. Oh I'm so sorry you and your son are sick. Tell your other two family members to take vitamin C and drink lots of orange juice. I hope you get well soon. Take care.

hehe, the piggy bank catching a flu. savings getting burnt is one thing but i dun think the swine flu had much an impact on the economic crisis.
